People here in SF and Marin seem to be smart and by S550s etc.. so I have never seen one of these that I can remember. They ordered the 60's revival plate I see. Doesn’t seem worth it to me, I guess they have money to burn, as some do in this area.

Or they pulled a Tavarish and bought it for the price of a used snickers.

It looked new, I don’t know the models well enough. Has the new plates. I can’t remember the model number on it.

Saw one by my neighborhood a week ago too
I sat in the back of one of these once for a ride around the block and it was fantastic.

Well Maybach went under in 2013 so that’s the newest it is. And they never changed the look.

If you’re going to be driven around in the back of something, a Maybach’s really top of the list if you have a particular set of priorities. If you have slightly different priorities, other cars win. Either way we’re talking about people with a lot of money. But just look at this:
It’s like they decided to build an S-Class with all the toys they’d put in if they had the space.

It’s a 300D, my family had it forever, well since 1983. I have a Z a 300d and a CRV. That kind of rhymes.

In CA you can get the black and yellow plate that was issued in the 60's. I thought it was just going to be for 60's cars that didn’t have them anymore but they made it open to anyone. Lots of people with black cars get them. My Z is a 71 and has the original plates which changed to yellow on blue. They were going to reissue the 70's plate but they didn’t get enough orders so it was cancelled.

57S? I know someone who owns one, he said he wont be driving it much anymore because it’s going to go up in value. So he says.
